Last weekend I had the chance to go up to the Tonto Natural Bridge in Payson, AZ. It's always a nice way to recharge the ole batteries. I spent the morning there with my sister and her husband, hiking the short but rocky trail through a natural cavern
. There was a steady waterflow pulsing through it, which made it amazingly cool and green. We then went up to Strawberry for lunch and then headed back to the valley. I enjoy the connection I've made with nature in my adult years. When we were kids, it felt like torture going on day long hikes in the Superstition Mountains, only to get to go somwhere cool up north like Flagstaff or the Grand Canyon a few times a year. We hiked so much, it got to the point where I just needed a break. At the end of the day, deserts are just boring compared to pine forests, or tropical settings. Connecting with life rather than death. Well, enough of that existential mularkey!

I don't know why kids pick the hair out of their boogers before they eat it, because you know, hair is gross.
There is no such thing as a free lunch, but office refrigerator theft comes fairly close.
